I know it’s been a while since I’ve worked on any lists and videos. Well, here’s the idea I teased on Facebook. Presenting The Gaiman Galleries! Well, so far, I’ve really loved what I’ve read of his and I think I can easily rank the books of his I read. So, over the course of the next month, I’ll be doing exactly that. And, to remove possible bias on my part (because I really enjoyed a certain book of his that I read recently), I will be rereading every book that I’ve already read, in an attempt to remove that bias. And if this fails, at least I know that I tried, and that the books I enjoyed actually were really good.
At the end of the project, I will put together another list video and post it to Youtube. I know exactly what parameters to consider with Gaiman, so this should be fun! I will consider a book for placement on the list based on the following:
Categories
Project: The Gaiman Galleries
-World building
-Characters and conflicts
-How much the story grabs me
-Structure and overall message
-Finally, how the book compares to other books of his that I’ve read (of course).
Time to gather up my Gaiman books! Updates to come!
